Troy Sheet Metal Works, Inc. (TSMW) was established in 1930 as a full-service production sheet metal facility. The 25,000 square foot shop located in Montebello, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles, services the industrial market nationwide.
In early 1990, TSMW worked with a local police department to custom-design a metal console to house their electronic equipment, such as radios, scanners, light switches, etc. in their vehicles. Soon, many more local agencies expressed similar requirements and TSMW realized it could address the public safety equipment market's needs by forming a subsidiary company to focus only on law enforcement vehicle products.
